Title RNA expression profiling in cardiomyocytes

Summary Using the highly sensitive RNA array, we assessed the effect of 11β-HSD1 and BVT.2733 on modulating RNAs expression in the neonatal rat ventricular cardiomyocytes.
 
Overall design In this study, samples from neonatal rat ventricular cardiomyocytes transfected either with the expression vector for 11β-HSD1 or co-treated with overexpression 11β-HSD1 vector and 11β-HSD1 inhibitor BVT.2733, or transfected with corresponding empty vector were used to acquire the RNA expression profiling thus to elucidate the possible molecular mechanism underlying the effect of 11β-HSD1 on hypertrophy.
