Tissues were obtained from male rats at 16 weeks old. The RNA was extracted using RNeasy kit (Qiagen) or AllPrep DNA/RNA Mini Kit (Qiagen).

Arrays were scanned using the G2539A scanner (Agilent) until 2011.07.01 and the G2600D scanner (Agilent) from 2014.06.19.

Data processing |
The scanned images were processed using the Feature Extraction software (Agilent). The signal intesity was transformed by the logarithm of base 2.
