Title Analysis of genes regulated by neural activity in D. melanogaster

Summary To identify genes upregulated by neural activity in the brain of Drosophila melanogaster, we have performed comprehensive gene expression profiling analysis. Samples were prepared from unstimulated animals (1-1 to 1-4) and aniamals which experienced induced neural activity (sample 2-1 to 2-4).
 
Overall design Neural activity-induced gene in D. melanogaster brain was searched by comparing control (w/o stimulation)and experimental (with artificial neural activity) samples. Four independent samples were prepared for each condition.
