Description
Microarray construction and hybridization protocols were modified from DeRisi, J.L., V.R Iyer, and P.O. Brown. Science 278:680-686, 1997. The microarrays were constructed using a set of more than 17000 sequence-verified clones from Research Genetics (UniGene Build 136). The cDNA inserts were amplified from replica plate cultures by PCR, purified and mechanically spotted onto polylysine-coated microscope slides using an OmniGrid robotic spotter (GeneMachines, San Carlo, CA).
