Platform GPL3648 Query DataSets for GPL3648
Status Public on Apr 13, 2006
Title AppChip1 (NRC-IBS Actinobacillus pleuropneumoniae L20)
Technology type spotted DNA/cDNA
Distribution non-commercial
Organism Actinobacillus pleuropneumoniae
Manufacturer NRC-IBS
Manufacture protocol Primers were synthesized at the Biotechnology Research Institute (BRI-NRC) in Montreal. ORF-specific amplicons were produced from 30 ng of genomic DNA template by standard PCR amplification methods. Amplicon quality was evaluated by agarose gel electrophoresis. Amplicons were purified, lyophilized, and sent to BRI-NRC for printing onto microarray slides.

Description PCR primers were designed for 2025 ORFs from a draft genomic sequence of Actinobacillus pleuropneumoniae L20 which comprised 2091 ORFs on 66 contigs. For AppChip1, all genes are spotted in duplicate on the microarray and sheared total genomic DNA from A. pleuropneumoniae L20 and porcine DNA were spotted in the top row of each subarray as controls.
