Title |
CHO 12h PHx |
Sample type |
RNA |
Source name |
pair-fed liver, 12h after PHx
Organism |
Rattus norvegicus |
Characteristics |
tissue: liver diet: carbohydrate partial hepatectomy time point: t=12h animal identifiers within pooled samples: H-243,H-264,H-279,H-291 time post surgery: 12h treatment: after hepatectomy
Treatment protocol |
Liver tissue was freeze-clamped in liquid nitrogen at the time of partial hepatectomy (PHx) and 1 h, 6 h, 12 h, and 24 h after PHx. Tissue was then stored at -80 degrees C.
Extracted molecule |
total RNA |
Extraction protocol |
Trizol extraction of total RNA was performed according to the manufacturer's instructions.
Label |
Cy3
Label protocol |
RNA was labeled with Agilent's miRNA Complete Labeling and Hybridization Kit, according to the manufacturer's instructions
Hybridization protocol |
Hybrdization was performed according to the manufacturer's instructions as given in Agilent's miRNA Complete Labeling and Hybridization Kit
Scan protocol |
Slides were scanned on an Agilent DNA Microarray Scanner (G2539A, Agilent) using the recommended settings for miRNA microarrays
Description |
miRNA expression in pair-fed carbohydrate control liver 12h after PHx
Data processing |
miRNA microarray data were extracted with Agilent Feature Extraction Software 10.7.3.1 (Agilent) and quantile normalized with GeneSpring GX version 11.0.2 (Agilent). An EtOH LLM sample found to be a technical outlier was not used in further analysis and was replaced in analysis with the mean of the three remaining EtOH LLM samples.
