Description |
ONL was dissected from the OBs and cells were dissociated and plated. OEC characterization was performed by immunocytochemistry employing typical OEC markers. Cultures were transfected with a plasmid coding for LT SV40 antigen. After clonal selection TEG3 cells were characterized and established as a cell line. TEG3 cells were serially passed in vitro and were established as a population of OECs adapted to long-term culture by genetic immortalization(Moreno-Flores et al. 2003).
