Whole blood leukocytes were isolated using a red blood cell depletion kit (Erythroclear Red Blood Cell Depletion Reagent kit; STEMCELL Technologies, cat. no. 01738) Isolated whole blood leukocytes were encapsulated using microfluidics technology, and barcoded using a unique molecular identifier (UMI) scRNAseq data were generated on Illumina HiSeq 3000 instruments according to the manufacturer's instructions
