Growth protocol |
Both strains used were obtained from frozen stocks. Each strain was inoculated in 1 mL SDC and grown overnight. Saturated overnight cultures were then diluted. All samples were incubated at 30oC with shaking (220 rpm). Total RNA was isolated at different time points.

we applied the Probe-Treatment-Reference (PTR) method coupled with sub-array normalization to the data. We choose target-reference relations illustrated in the paper to do the pairwise normalization.The normalized data are used to fit the three-factor PTR model according to the target-reference relations for each probe-set and the parameters are estimated by least absolute deviations (LAD).
