Treatment protocol Mice and embryos did not receive any treatment.
Growth protocol Mice were housed in a temperature-controlled room (22–24°C) with a relative humidity of 36%–80%, and 12-hour light/12-hour dark cycles. Animal studies were performed in compliance with European Community specifications regarding the use of laboratory animals and approved by the Nord-Pas de Calais Ethical Committee for animal use. Embryos were dated taking Embryonic day (E) 0.5 as the day after the vaginal plug.
Extracted molecule total RNA
Extraction protocol RNA was extracted using RNeasy Microkit (Qiagen). cDNA was obtained with a reverse transcription Kit (High-capacity cDNA reverse transcription Kit, Life Technologies). Total RNA was checked for quantity and quality using the Agilent 2100 Bioanalyzer (Agilent Biotechnologies).
Label Biotin
Label protocol RNA were processed using Affymetrix GeneChip® WT PLUS Reagent Kit.
 
Hybridization protocol Affymetrix GeneChip Hybridization Oven 640 for 16h at 45°C and 60 rpm on MoGene-2_1-st Chip. GeneChips were washed and stained in the Affymetrix Fluidics.
Scan protocol Affymetrix GeneChip Scanner 7G and Affymetrix GeneChip Command Console software (AGCC).
Description Transcriptomic MPH
Data processing Raw transcriptomic data from Affymetrix microarrays were normalized using the Partek Genomics Suite (v7.0) using background correction by Robust Multi-array Average (RMA), quantile normalization and summarization via median-polish. RMA values from different probes matching to the same gene were averaged.
