Cyanine-3 (Cy3) labeled cRNA was prepared from 0.5 ug RNA using the One-Color Low RNA Input Linear Amplification PLUS kit (Agilent) according to the manufacturer's instructions, followed by RNAeasy column purification (QIAGEN). Dye incorporation and cRNA yield were checked with the NanoDrop ND-1000 Spectrophotometer.

Data processing |
The scanned images were analyzed with GeneSpring 12.0 software. After doing quantile normalization and baseline transformation to median of all samples, the probe sets (genes) were filtered by Coefficient of Variation <50%, followed by Moderated T-Test and Bonferroni correction. The probe sets which passed the P value cut-off ≤0.01 with the fold change of ≥2.0 were considered for interpreting the data
