|
Organism |
Arabidopsis thaliana |
Characteristics |
ecotype background: columbia 0 genotype/variation: copt5-2 knockout mutant age: 7 days tissue: whole seedlings growth condition: 1/2 MS + 100uM BCS (treatment condition)
|
Growth protocol |
Arabidopsis thaliana columbia 0 as wt and copt5-2 mutant (knockout mutant T-DNA insertion) seeds were grown during 7 days. The growth medium was 1/2 MS, supplemented by Cu 1uM in the control conditions and by BCS 100uM for the treatment, in order to generate severe Cu defficiency. Light conditions were DHLC(12/12) and the material was collected after 12 hours of light. 3 biological replicates with 4 samples of each one were collected (in total 12 samples).

Extracted molecule |
total RNA |
Extraction protocol |
Quiagen RNeasy Plant Mini Kit was employed to obtain total RNA from samples studied. The extraction protocol followed the manufacturer instructions
