Organism |
Macaca mulatta |
Characteristics |
sex: female individual: mmu_313_2000 ancestry: Indian
|
Biomaterial provider |
New England Primate Research Center
|
Treatment protocol |
Whole venous blood was collected during routine health evaluations at the New England Primate Research Center. DNA was isolated from peripheral leukoctyes with the Puregene DNA isolation kit (Gentra, Minneapolis, MN) and purified using the Wizard DNA Cleanup System (Promega, Madison, WI).
|
Growth protocol |
Macaques were housed at the New England Primate Research Center prior to whole venous blood extraction.
|
Extracted molecule |
genomic DNA |

Label |
Cy3
|
Label protocol |
Sample was labeled and hybridized using standard NimbleGen aCGH protocols in Reykjavik, Iceland. Briefly, 1µg of genomic DNA was labeled with random 9-mer “wobble”-Cy3 or Cy5 (TriLink BioTechnologies, San Diego, CA) using Exo-Klenow DNA polymerase (New England Biolabs, Ipswich, MA), at 37° C for 2 hr.
