The quality of the RNA samples was checked with the Agilent 2100 Bioanalyzer and NanoDrop ND-2000 UV-VIS spectrophotometer. Only samples with RNA Integrity Number (RIN) ≥8.0, A260/280 OD values between 1.8 and 2.0 and an A260/A230 OD value of 2.0 were used for one-color labelling using Agilent’s One-Colour Microarray-Based Gene Expression Analysis Low Input Quick Amp Labelling v6.0 (Agilent Technologies, Santa Clara, CA). Total RNA (100 ng) was used to generate cyanine-3-labeled cRNA.
