in vtro sertoli cell cultures were treated with 100 nM Testosterone and 5ng/ml of FSH for 12 hrs.

| Growth protocol |
Infant sertoli cells were isolated from testis of infant male monkeys less than 3 months old. Juvenile, pre-pubertal male monkeys were implanted with indwelling catheter and given GnRH intermittently, 0.15 µg/min for 2 min every 3 h, for 4 to 5 weeks to induce puberty. Sertoli cells were isolated from testis of such pubertal animals.
