Treatment protocol 5.0×10^5 fibroblasts cells were plated on 10cm dish and cultured in DMEM (Sigma) with 10% FBS (Sigma) and 1% penicillin streptomycin (Sigma) for 48h. Then, the medium were changed into DMEM without FBS and penicillin streptomycin and cultured for 24h. The medium were changed again and cultured for 24h and total RNA were extracted.
Growth protocol All fibroblasts were grown and maintained in MF-medium (Toyobo), and all experiments were performed with cells within 6 passages.
Extracted molecule total RNA
Extraction protocol TRIzol / RNeasy minicolumn protocol (QIAGEN) were performed according to the manufacturer's instructions.
Label biotin
Label protocol Biotinylated cRNA were prepared according to the standard Affymetrix protocol from 100 ng total RNA using a 3' IVT Express Kit.
 
Hybridization protocol The procedures for target hybridization, washing, and staining with signal amplification were conducted according to the supplier's protocols.
Scan protocol The arrays were scanned with a GeneChip Scanner 3000 (Affymetrix).
Description Normal human stomach submucosal fibroblasts
Data processing The intensity of each feature of the array was calculated using GeneSpring GX Software, version 12.6 (Agilent).
