Description Blood was collected in ACD containing vacutainers. RBCs were lysed using lysis
buffer, and WBCs were subsequently pelleted. Total RNA was extracted from this
sample using EZ-RNA isolation kit (Biological Industries, Israel). Targets were
produced using standard Affymetrix procedures from 8 microgram of total RNA.
