Title |
Match normal of fusion positive tumor; biological rep5 |
Sample type |
RNA |
Source name |
Human salivary gland tumor patient
Organism |
Homo sapiens |
Characteristics |
tissue: Adenoid cystic tumor sample type: Match normal of fusion positive tumor
Treatment protocol |
Samples were excised from human patients under approved IRB protocols
Growth protocol |
Samples were collected from fresh frozen tissues
Extracted molecule |
total RNA |
Extraction protocol |
Trizol extraction of total RNA was performed according to the manufacturer's instructions.
Label |
biotin
Label protocol |
200ng total RNA was labeledusing Ambion WT expression Kit following manufacturer's instructions. cDNA was fragmented and labeled using the Affymetrix GeneChip WT terminal labeling kit according to manufacturer's instructions.
Hybridization protocol |
Following fragmentation, 5.5 ug of cDNA were hybridized for 16 hr at 45C on Affymetrix Human Gene ST Array. GeneChips were washed and stained in the Affymetrix Fluidics Station 450.
Scan protocol |
The GeneChip arrays were stained and scanned in an Affymetrix GCS 3000 7G Scanner.
Description |
gene expression array for normal tissue
Data processing |
The data were analyzed with Affymetrix Expression Console using RMA algorithm followed by log2 transformation.
