Characteristics |
cell line: A2EN cell type: Human endocervical epithelial cells infected with: Chlamydia G1V mutant time point: 4 hr post infection
Treatment protocol |
A2EN cells were infected with different strains of Chlamydia trachomatis at an MOI of 10 by spinning at 3000 rpm for 30 min at 10 degree and shift to 37 degree incubator for 4 hours.
Growth protocol |
Human endocervical epithelial A2EN cells were maintained in keratinocyte-SFM medium supplemented with 10 % FBS, 0.5 ng/mL human recombinant epidermal growth factor and 50 μg/mL bovine pituitary extract.
Extracted molecule |
total RNA |
Extraction protocol |
Samples were collected using QIAGEN RNeasy Plus Mini Kit as described by the manufacturer.

Label |
Biotin-UTP
Label protocol |
Hybridization targets were prepared with MessageAmp Premier RNA Amplification Kit from total RNA
Hybridization protocol |
Hybridization was achieved in Affymetrix GeneChip hybridization oven 645 according to standard Affymetrix GeneChip protocol
