Characteristics Charolais 2003, Bull 15 months IC-, Tm, Jm, Fm, Muscle LT
Extracted molecule total RNA
Label Cy3

Channel 2
Source name Pool of 5 samples (muscle LT) of 19 months bulls
Organism Bos taurus
Characteristics Pool of 5 samples (muscle LT) of 19 months bulls
Extracted molecule total RNA
Label Cy5

Description Longissimus thoracis (LT) muscle from Charolais bull calf at 15 months of age. The animal has a low growth potential (IC-). This muscle gives a meat which is of average tenderness (Tm), juiciness (Jm) and flavor (Fm).
Data processing After background correction and removal of flagged values, log base 2 expression ratios were normalized and scalled. This procedure is done with MADSCAN tool.
