Minimum Essential Medium containing glutamine (MEM-GlutaMAXTM-I) (Gibco, Darmstadt, Germany) supplemented with 10% tetracycline-negative fetal bovine serum (PAA, Pasching, Austria) and 1% penicillin/streptomycin (Invitrogen, Darmstadt, Germany). All cells were maintained at 37 °C and 5% CO2 in a 95% air-humidified incubator.
