Title |
RNA-seq in cadmium resistant breast cancer MDA-MB-231 cells |
Organism |
Homo sapiens |
Experiment type |
Expression profiling by high throughput sequencing
|
Summary |
In this study, we compared RNA-seq of cadmium resistant MDA-MB-231 cells vs untreated controls.

Overall design |
In this study, we compared RNA-seq for MDA-MB-231 cells treated long term with 10uM cadmium compared to control cells. Cells were passaged in the presence of cadmium to induce heavy metal resistance, generating cadmium resistant cell lines. Parental control cells were serially passaged in normal media as a control.
