Title Gene expression in pre-cystic mouse kidneys after Pkd2 deletion.
Organism Mus musculus
Experiment type Expression profiling by high throughput sequencing
Summary To identify early transcriptional changes downstream of Pkd2 mutations that promote cyst formation, we used tamoxifen-inducible CAG-Cre to induce Pkd2 deletion at postnatal day 2 and compared to wild-type mice at postnatal day 6 and 10.
We then performed gene expression profiling analysis using data obtained from RNA-seq of whole mouse kidneys.

Overall design Comparative gene expression profiling analysis of RNA-seq data for Pkd2 deleted mouse kidneys vs wild-type.
