Expression profiling by high throughput sequencing
Summary
RNA sequencing of hematopoietic stem cells isolated from young (8-12 week) and old (24-27 month) BL6 mice from experimental groups that are intended to describe the transcriptomic consequences of parabiosis on the function of old hematopoietic stem cells.
Overall design
35 samples were processed, of which 30 met library and sequencing quality thresholds to be included in our analysis. These 30 samples represent eleven different biological groups. Some groups have only two biological replicates (YISOB6, YISOBJ, OHETB6X), but most have a minimum of three biological replicates per group (YB6CNT, YBJCNT, YHETBJ, OHETB6, OISOB6, OB6CNT). Two biological groups only had one replicate (OISOBJ and OBJCNT) and were not utilized for statistical differential expression testing unless they were merged with another sample group.
