microRNA-155 is an Epstein-Barr Virus induced gene that modulates EBV-regulated gene expression (microRNA-155 infection)

(Submitter supplied) The cellular microRNA, miR-155 has been shown to be involved in lymphocyte activation and is expressed in EBV infected cells displaying type III latency gene expression but not type I latency gene expression. We show here that the elevated levels of miR-155 in type III latency cells is due to EBV gene expression and not epigenetic differences in cell lines tested and we show that expression in EBV infected cells requires a conserved AP-1 element in the miR-155 promoter. more...

Agilent-014850 Whole Human Genome Microarray 4x44K G4112F (Feature Number version)

(Submitter supplied) This multi-pack (4X44K) formatted microarray represents a compiled view of the human genome as it is understood today. The sequence information used to design this product was derived from a broad survey of well known sources such as RefSeq, Goldenpath, Ensembl, Unigene and others. The resulting view of the human genome covers 41K unique genes and transcripts which have been verified and optimized by alignment to the human genome assembly and by Agilent's Empirical Validation process. more...
