SRX377763: Geomyces pannorum strain F-4518
1 ILLUMINA (Illumina HiSeq 2000) run: 13M spots, 2.6G bases, 1.5Gb downloads

Submitted by: MOSCOW STATE UNIVERSITY
Study: Genome sequencing of 14 Pseudogymnoascus strains
show Abstracthide Abstract
Geomyces pannorum is a haploid, asexual fungus which can tolerate low temperature and high salinity conditions. We extracted 14 individuals from permafrost and from temperate environments and obtained de novo draft assembly for each of them. Comparative genome analysis reveals extremely high nucleotide diversity (~0.5 synonymous substitutions between individuals) and also reveals certain regions with phylogenetic pattern different from the rest of the genome.
Sample: General Sample for Geomyces pannorum var. pannorum
