This cross-sectional study included 25 patients with chronic extrahepatic portal vein obstruction (EHPVO), 29 patients with liver cirrhosis without portal vein thrombosis (PVT) (LC), 15 cirrhotic patients with portal vein thrombosis (LCPVT), and 22 healthy controls. The fecal microbiota was assessed using 16S rRNA gene sequencing.
