SRX26894125: 16S rRNA Sequencing of Coal driven Anerobes
1 ILLUMINA (Illumina NovaSeq 6000) run: 65,863 spots, 39.6M bases, 23.9Mb downloads

Design: Coal samples were collected from different coal mine locations of Telangana district and powdered using a pulverizer, subsequently processed for 16S rRNA Sequencing.

show Abstracthide Abstract
We identified three dominant bacterial phyla Pseudomonadota, Bacillota, and Actinomycetota across various stages of anaerobic digestion. Pseudomonadota prevalence, ranging from 66% to 84%, underscores its key contribution to methanogenesis, where it degrades coal-derived organic compounds and produces essential substrates for methane-forming archaea.
