show Abstracthide AbstractThe plant Brassicaceae family contains numerous species able to hyperaccumulate nickel and other metals, in particular in the Noccaea genus (Brassicaceae, Coluteocarpeae tribe). Microthlaspi perfoliatum (Brassicaceae, Coluteocarpeae tribe) belongs to the closest genus to Noccaea that do not contains nickel hyperaccumulator species. The comparative analysis of the transcriptomes of Microthlaspi perfoliatum and Noccaea caerulescens may help to identify mechanisms involved in nickel tolerance and hyperaccumulation.
