SRX9149152: 16S rRNA gene amplicon sequencing of Mouth swab from patient with multiple myeloma obtained at baseline at start of relapse therapy (17/003) [JMF-2001-4-0044B]
1 ILLUMINA (Illumina MiSeq) run: 70,769 spots, 36M bases, 17.6Mb downloads

Design: Mouths swabs were obtained using 4N6FLOQSwabs and stored at -20C within 2 hours of collection. Total DNA was extracted using the QIAamp DNA Mini Kit. The V3-V4 region of bacterial 16S rRNA gene was amplified using 341F and 785R primers (https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/26236305).

Study: Oral microbiome in patients with relapsed/refractory multiple myeloma treated with ixazomib-based therapy
show Abstracthide Abstract
Alterations in the human microbiome have been linked to several malignant diseases. Here, we investigated the oral microbiome of 90 patients with relapsed/refractory multiple myeloma (MM) treated with Ixazomib-Thalidomide-Dexamethasone. Sequencing was performed at the Joint Microbiome Facility of the Medical University of Vienna and the University of Vienna under the project ID JMF-2001-4.
Sample: Mouth swab from patient with multiple myeloma obtained at baseline at start of relapse therapy (17/003)
