show Abstracthide AbstractPseudomonas aeruginosa (PA) are among the most common organisms causing nosocomial infections, and are associated with high morbidity and mortality rates especially in intensive care units (ICUs). The emergence of antibiotic resistance including carbapenems in PA is a significant threat to public health worldwide. The goal of this study is to characterize the molecular mechanisms of antimicrobial resistance in multidrug resistant Pseudomonas aeruginosa strains.
