signal peptidase II

Signal peptidase II, an aspartic protease, is also known as the lipoprotein signal peptidase. It works together with an apolipoprotein N-acyltransferase and a prolipoprotein diacylglyceryl transferase to replace type II signal peptides with a lipid anchor to membrane.
