protein disulfide oxidoreductase
This family of archaeal and bacterial proteins contains two domains with thioredoxin/glutaredoxin homology, including a C-terminal domain with a glutaredoxin-like CPYC motif. Many members of this family are selenoproteins. Member protein TON_0319 from Thermococcus onnurineus was shown modulate the redox state of the CxxC disulfide of SurR (ACJ15803.1), a transcription factor involved in the sulfur response.
