GSCFA domain-containing protein
This family of proteins are functionally uncharacterised. They have been named GSCFA after a highly conserved N-terminal motif in the alignment. Distant similarity to the Pfam:PF00657 lipases suggests these proteins are likely to be enzymes. (from Pfam)
GSCFA domain-containing protein belongs to the SGNH/GDSL hydrolase family, and may be a hydrolytic enzyme such as an esterase or lipase; may have multifunctional properties including broad substrate specificity and regiospecificity
