It belongs a gene pair found sporadically in genera as diverse as Enterococcus, Lactobacillus, Staphylococcus, Streptococcus, Acinetobacter, and Klebsiella, or in phage from those lineages. The partner in each gene pair is a member of the sce7725 family.
