FtsX-like permease family protein

This is a family of predicted permeases and hypothetical transmembrane proteins. Swiss:P57382 has been shown to transport lipids targeted to the outer membrane across the inner membrane. Both Swiss:P57382 and Swiss:O54500 have been shown to require ATP. This region contains three transmembrane helices. (from Pfam)

putative ABC transporter permease subunit YbbP

YbbP, as found in Escherichia coli, is an uncharacterized ABC transporter permease-like protein associated with and presumed to form a complex with the putative ABC transporter ATP-binding protein YbbA (NF007879). The function is unknown.

ABC transporter permease

ABC transporter permease is the transmembrane subunit found in a periplasmic binding protein (PBP)-dependent ABC transport system, which may be involved in the transport of one or more from a variety of substrates including sugars, ions, amino acids, and peptides, among others
