AAA family ATPase

This family of domains contain a P-loop motif that is characteristic of the AAA superfamily. Many of the proteins in this family are conjugative transfer proteins. There is a Walker A and Walker B. (from Pfam)

phosphate starvation-inducible protein PhoH

Although a 1993 study by Kim, et al. (PMID:8444794) reports a translation site beginning MVTSCTGHVLDN... in Escherichia coli, for a protein length of 354 amino acids, a review by NCBI of sequences available in 2020 suggests the actual protein length is just 262, which is 92 amino acids shorter. The HMM was rebuilt to support what we believe to be the correct length of PhoH in E. coli.
