class II fructose-bisphosphate aldolase
tagatose-bisphosphate aldolase
tagatose bisphosphate family class II aldolase
This HMM describes tagatose-1,6-bisphosphate aldolases, and perhaps other closely related class II aldolases. This tetrameric, Zn2+-dependent enzyme is related to the class II fructose bisphosphate aldolase; fructose 1,6-bisphosphate and tagatose 1,6 bisphosphate differ only in chirality at C4.
tagatose-bisphosphate aldolase subunit GatY
tagatose-bisphosphate aldolase subunit GatY is the catalytic subunit of the tagatose-1,6-bisphosphate aldolase GatYZ, which catalyzes the reversible aldol condensation of dihydroxyacetone phosphate (DHAP or glycerone-phosphate) with glyceraldehyde 3-phosphate (G3P) to produce tagatose 1,6-bisphosphate (TBP)
ketose-bisphosphate aldolase
This model is under revision. Proteins found by this model include fructose-bisphosphate and tagatose-bisphosphate aldolase.
