SdiA-regulated domain-containing protein
This family represents a conserved region approximately within a number of hypothetical bacterial proteins that may be regulated by SdiA, a member of the LuxR family of transcriptional regulators [1]. Some family members contain the Pfam:PF01436 repeat. [1]. 9495757. Salmonella typhimurium encodes an SdiA homolog, a putative quorum sensor of the LuxR family, that regulates genes on the virulence plasmid.
