LuxR C-terminal-related transcriptional regulator
LuxR family transcriptional regulator HyxR
HyxR is a pathogenicity island-encoded DNA-binding transcriptional regulator that affects nitrosative stress tolerance and intracellular survival. Its promoter region, located between hyxR and and fimX, has an invertible element, hyxS, whose orientation can be flipped by the DNA invertase FimX, toggling expression of HyxR on or off.
