TITLE Direct Submission JOURNAL Submitted (11-JUL-2016) Berkeley Drosophila Genome Project, Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory, One Cyclotron Road, Berkeley, CA 94720, USA COMMENT This ORF sequence was generated by the FlyBi project for large-scale mapping of binary interactions in Drosophila. FlyBi is a collaboration among the Berkeley Drosophila Genome Project (S. Celniker), Center for Cancer Systems Biology (M. Vidal), and Drosophila RNAi Screening Center (N. Perrimon). The project was funded by an NIGMS grant to N. Perrimon, Harvard Medical School, Boston, MA 02115. The ORF was sequenced as a pool using the Illumina HiSeq as part of a high-throughput process generated by PCR amplification of BDGP Drosophila Gene Collection open reading frame clones followed by cloning into the Gateway recombinational cloning vector pDONR223. This ORF was amplified, without a stop-codon (to allow fusion with C-terminal tag), from the parent clone with accession number AY071463. Clone structure of the ORF and flanking sequence is as follows: 5' - caactt tgtacaaaaa agttggcacc -ORF- ttgccaactt tcttgtacaa agttg - 3'. If you request the clone from a repository, we recommend single-colony isolation and sequence validation. For more information about the FlyBi project, including information regarding distribution of FlyBi clones by repositories, please see http://flybi.hms.harvard.edu/ Method: conceptual translation.
