COMMENT REVIEWED REFSEQ: This record has been curated by NCBI staff. The
reference sequence was derived from AL354696.11, BC022033.2,
            AI631319.1, BU070208.1, BF436101.1, HY094395.1 and BU069965.1.
This sequence is a reference standard in the RefSeqGene project.

On Jun 9, 2002 this sequence version replaced NP_115514.1.

Summary: The protein encoded by this gene is a transcriptional
activator, having been shown to increase the transcription of
activator protein-1 and serum response element. The encoded protein
can also form a complex with KBTBD6 and CUL3, which regulates the
ubiquitylation and degradation of TIAM1, which is a regulator of
RAC1. [provided by RefSeq, Jul 2016].

Sequence Note: This RefSeq record was created from transcript and
genomic sequence data to make the sequence consistent with the
reference genome assembly. The genomic coordinates used for the
transcript record were based on transcript alignments.

publications that are available for this gene. Please see the Gene
