Definition

Speech pattern that is excessive and intense that often imparts a sense of urgency, the individual appears to be driven to communicate with many words that are spoken very quickly and may run into each other. The person is frequently difficult to interrupt and appears to not respond to social cues for the conversational partner(s) to take their turn in speaking. [from HPO]
