SKOV-3 cells (ATCC, HTB-77) were grown at 37degres in 10%FBS RPMI. They were passaged every 3-4 days. P8, P9, P10, P11 in the sample names refer to the cell passage number.

Extraction protocol |
total RNA was extracted with Trizol reagent, followed by clean-up and DNase I treatment with QIAGEN RNeasy mini kit in accordance with the prescribed protocol provided with the kit. Quality control was performed with Agilent Bioanalyser.

GeneChip Hybridization Control Kit and GeneChip Hybridization, Wash, Stain Kit (Affymetrix) were used to hybidize Human Gene 1.0ST arrays.

The data were analyzed with Partek Genomics Suite version 6.4 using Affymetrix default analysis settings and global scaling as normalization method.
