Treatment protocol |
hGCs primary cultures were maintained in starvation buffer for 12 hours. hGCs were treated with bioequivalent doses of corifollitrophin alfa or rec FSH. hGCs were evaluated after 24 hours from the removal of the unbound gonadotrophins.

Growth protocol |
hGCs were recovered from preovulatory ovarian follicles after the oocytes retrieval from the medium aspirated. Retrieved hGCs were cultured for 6 days in McCoy 5A medium (Carlo Erba, Italy) supplemented with 5% foetal bovine serum (FBS) South America (EU Approved, Carlo Erba, Italy), 2mM L-Glutamine, 1% Penicillin/Streptomicin and 1% Amphotericin B (Sigma Aldrich, St. Louis, MO, USA) at 37 °C under a controlled atmosphere of 5% CO2.
