Extracted molecule total RNA
Extraction protocol 500 L3 larvae of the desired genotype were dissect to collect 500 Brains. The Brains were deep frozen in liquid nitrogen and then homogenized. A 10% of the brain homogenates was used as input, the rest was immunuprecipated with anti-GFP antibodies to isolate t4/t5 ribosomes. The RNA bound to the ribosome was then purified, sonicated and sequenced.
