Treatment protocol |
No treatments were used. The only difference in the animals was their genotype, with the mutants being liver-conditional knockouts for Pdss2.

Growth protocol |
Mutant and control animals were grown in separate cages in the University of Pennsylvania animal facility until time of sacrifice. Food was removed from the cages 3 hours prior to sacrifice by cervical dislocation without anesthesia.

Following fragmentation, 10 ug of cRNA were hybridized for 16 hr at 45C on GeneChip Mouse 430_2 Genome Array. GeneChips were washed and stained in the Affymetrix Fluidics Station 450.

GeneChips were scanned using the Affymetrix GeneChip Scanner 3000, 7G.
