Basecalls performed using RTA (Illumina) RNA-seq reads were aligned to the dm3 genome assembly using CASAVA 9v1.8.2) using module "eland_rna"and counts determined using theCASAVA "variant detection and counting" module RNA-Seq differentially expressed genes were called using edgeR using a false discovery rate (FDR) cut-off of 10% Genome_build: dm3 Supplementary_files_format_and_content: Tab-delimited (tsv) text files show raw counts of genes for each sample; XLS file shows the edgeR output of differentially expressed genes upon AbdA expression.
