Sample GSM2563454 Query DataSets for GSM2563454
Status Public on Dec 08, 2017
Title PriMBs_H3K4me3 (ChIP-seq)
Sample type SRA

Source name skeletal muscle
Organism Mus musculus
Characteristics strain: C57BL/6
cell type: primary myoblasts
age: isolated from 10-day-old mice
chip antibody: anti-H3K4me antibody (Diagenode, catalog# C15410003, lot# A5051-001P)
Extracted molecule genomic DNA
Extraction protocol Primary myoblasts (PriMBs) were isolated from limb muscle of 10-day old mice using the preplating technique and cultivated to about 70% confluency. Chromatin was prepared and ChIP performed according to Arrigoni, L. et al. (2016) Nucleic Acids Res. 55, e67.
Libraries were prepared using the NEBNext Ultra DNA library preparation kit (NEB, E7370S). Adapter-ligated fragments were amplified with 12 PCR cycles and sequenced on the Illumina HiSeq 2500 platform.

Library strategy ChIP-Seq
Library source genomic
Library selection ChIP
Instrument model Illumina HiSeq 2500

Data processing Paired-end reads were mapped to the mouse reference genome (mm10) using bowtie 2.
Data were further analyzed using the peak finding algorithm of MACS 1.4.2 using input as control.
