Growth protocol MCF10A cells were cultured in Dulbecco’s modified Eagle’s medium DMEM (Invitrogen) with 5% horse serum (Invitrogen), 1% penicillin/streptomycin (Invitrogen), 20 ng/ml EGF (Peprotech), 0.5 μg/ml hydrocortisone(Sigma), 100 ng/ml cholera toxin (Sigma) and 10 μg/ml insulin (Sigma) . Cells were grown in a humidified incubator at 37°C with 5% CO2.
